Paige Bradley created one of the most striking sculptures I’ve seen in recent times. Her masterpiece, entitled Expansion, is a beautiful woman seeking inner piece but fractured and bleeding with light.

“From the moment we are born, the world tends to have a container already built for us to fit inside: a social security number, a gender, a race, a profession,” says Bradley. “I ponder if we are more defined by the container we are in than what we are inside. Would we recognize ourselves if we could expand beyond our bodies?”

Well, whatever.

I got tired. Christmas came and went. I totally forgot about this blog as we did not have a good Internet connection and I spent my time playing video games.

So…

I just want to go home to my mom and live with her and help her (I live with my dad atm.). I think… maybe… possibly… she has schizophrenia. What does one do in such a situation? I feel sorry and sad for her, and I wish I had known this earlier, but my whole life I’ve been living thinking this was just how she was as a person.

Uh… anyway, I’ll just come and go, I guess. Don’t feel like blogging much anymore.

  • you get fresh air

cons of having a social life

  • you have to get out of bed
  • you have to shower
  • you have to make yourself look presentable
  • you have to brush your teeth
  • you have to brush your hair
  • you are away from the computer
  • you have to socialize

"When you start to really know someone, all his physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in his energy, recognize the scent of his skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant."
